With over 30+ years experience skiing and sailing to the highest levels and coaching to international level, we offer an unrivaled insight into sports as a performer and coach. This practical experience has been backed up by study and a Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Studies, Elite Sports Coaching at Moray House College in Edinburgh (now part of University of Edinburgh).

This background has led to being involved at the highest levels of coach education within skiing in UK.

Skiing and sailing have given a deep insight into the differing dynamics of performing as an individual and within a team. Coaching each also requires a different approach.

Building a business from start up to become a successful, industry recognised leader, has provided a clear insight into the challenges businesses face. Combined with sitting on the Board of Directors for BASI this has provided a strong business insight to realise and express the similarities between performing and coaching in a sporting or business context.
